Explore the California Academy of Sciences at night, home to an aquarium, planetarium, rainforest, and natural history museum.
Visit the exhibits during the Thursday 21+ NightLife event. Wine, beer, and specialty cocktails are available for purchase at bars throughout the museum.
Each month features a different theme with science activities and music from live DJs.
See the African penguin colony in African Hall, including the newest chicks, Pogo and Ozzie.

Before you buy
The Planetarium, is first come, first-served and is popular. Book your spot in advance via the link in your voucher for an additional $5. Nightlife Plus includes a Planetarium ticket.

On-site usage
- Present your ticket and valid photo ID for quick and easy entry
- Last entry into the rainforest is 7:30 pm
- Planetarium passes are not included with NightLife admission and are sold separately for $5 each
- All food and drink must be enjoyed in the Academy Café or outdoors
